“He is clearly a poet and a superb technician, who captivates with the beauty of his pianissimo and unexpected brutality at certain moments. It seems that he has the ability that we appreciate among pianists and musicians in general, to listen attentively to the meaning conveyed between the notes. My opinion really counts for very little in relation to such stunning performance.”

Rupert Ridgewell (music critic, London)

Spanish pianist Diego Ramírez Gomelsky has performed around the world in countries such as Spain, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Israel, Hungary, Romania, Colombia and Turkey.

Of great relevance in his artistic development has been his meeting with musicians such as Dora Schwarzberg, Ivo Pogorelich, Lyda Chen, Martha Argerich or Daniel Barenboim, who have praised him.

Born in Logroño (Spain), he began his piano studies at the age of four, continuing under pianist Andrés Linero-Branly (student of Hilde Adler, disciple of Moritz Rosenthal, in turn disciple of Franz Liszt).

He has also studied with the pianists Miguel Ituarte (Centro Superior de Música del País Vasco MUSIKENE) and Emmanuel Ferrer Laloe, with the latter at the “Mesnil Saint Martin” in Bergerac, France, as well as with Pether Bithell (Guildhall School) and Nairi Grigorian Avakimov (Moscow Conservatory).
